What do inline-skates, rolling suitcases and folding bicycles have in common? Many inventions that were shown at iENA have gone into series production and in the meantime these have also become part of life. The above-mentioned inventions are just three good examples. The perfect complement to the trade fair activities: the diversified, moderated stage program. It offers interesting specialized lectures and discussion forums on current topics for a look at the work of inventors and a description of the conditions and questions from the working world of the creative. This facilitates the exciting exchange between exhibitors and visitors.

Due to current political discussions the focus is this year on European patent politics.
Innovative solutions and new product ideas are the only way companies can differentiate themselves form each other in the marketplace and succeed. Against this background and to get future generation interested in sciences, mathematics and technology numerous national and international young inventors’ initiatives offer different support programs and competitions. Winning projects of some respected initiatives will be shown at the iENA.
The international jury honors outstanding inventions with medals, certificates and prizes. The high regard enjoyed by these carefully selected awards in specialized circles is particularly important when it comes to market introduction. Every exhibitor receives a certificate of participation.
The presence of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and many other international patent offices as well as the national and international organizations and specialized associations for inventors offer concrete on site help and qualified advice. This makes it easier for you to make contacts and take immediate orders.

Inventors? Inventors are tinkerers. They are like Gyro Gearloose and things just do not turn out as intended at times.
However, inventors have long left this image behind. We just could not do without many of their inventions in our modern day life anymore. Think about trolleys, for example, or the folding bicycle, inline skates, the snow board or retractable dog leads.
These products, which meanwhile add up to 25 000 inventions, all started their success at the iENA – International Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – Novelties” at Nuremberg. This successful exhibition celebrat its 65th anniversary in 2013!
